GLORY BOX X AMA COLLECTION
Vibrant Ghanain wax prints sourced locally from female vendors at Accra's Makola Market and tailored in collaboration with local female artisans who are paid above living wages. This ethical colaboration between Glory Box and Ama celebrates inclusive sizing, amazing colours and unique prints allows us to showcase and support a variety of women, and to bring this special range to Australia so you can feel good while doing good.
These kaftans are AMA's signiture piece. In fact, we discovered them while in France where we collaborated directly with the designer who lives and works in Accra. We came home with several pieces and are thrilled to be able to bring this range here to Australia. The kimonos are bold statement pieces and can be worn with or without the accompanying wide belt for a variety of looks. The amazing fabric holds shape to provide lovely sillouhettes at the sleeves and IT HAS POCKETS. Made in inclusive sizing- we have seen this same sizing on sizes 10-20 and they look phenomenal.
This cotton is in a firm weave and holds shape through hot days, keeping you cool and happy. Handwash or gentle machine wash, dry in inside out.
